Built by a small business owner
I’ve spent almost two decades figuring out how businesses can use marketing to connect with real people.
I have a BBA with an Honours in Marketing, and before becoming a small-business owner, I spent almost a decade as a digital marketer in the music industry.
I started my career at an interesting time—social media was just beginning to open up to brands and businesses. I got to watch, and be part of, the shift as businesses figured out how to use these new platforms to reach and connect with their customers.
Then, nine years ago, my perspective changed. I became a bridal shop owner.
Suddenly, marketing wasn't my only job. It was something I had to fit in between serving customers, managing inventory, answering emails, paying bills, solving problems and everything else that comes with running a small business.
And I quickly learned that knowing how to market a business and finding the time to actually do it are two very different things.
THAT'S WHY I CREATED THE BUSINESS WELL.
I wanted to combine my professional marketing background with what I've learned from nine years in the trenches of small-business ownership and create something that was actually practical for people like us.

Because you don't need to post just to stay visible. You need content with a purpose.
And you need a strategy that fits into the reality of running a business.
